2 Chronicles 20:18, 19
As the world encounters this pandemic and the news gets bleaker daily, do we still praise the Lord? God has never changed in these Covid-19 days. He is still closer to us than a brother, He has still promised to never leave us or forsake us and He promises are still trustworthy. Jehoshaphat and his people praised the LORD, in simple adoration, as they went to war;
People of Praise
Jehoshaphat . . . and all the people of Judah and
Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord. Verse 18
Posture of Praise
Interestingly, Jehoshaphat and his people bowed to worship and the Levites stood up!
Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, . . .
Then some Levites . . . stood up and praised the Lord, . . . Verses 18, 19
Volume of Praise
Stood up and praised the Lord, with a very loud voice. Verse 19
Even in these perplexing days may our mouths be like that of the Psalmist; My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendour all day long. Psalm 71:8
